Manufacturer data or applicable standards can be referenced, but a visual and mechanical inspection is essential to confirm that the tray has not been overloaded or damaged in prior service. Dents, bent rungs, or twisted side rails can reduce load capacity and may require repair or replacement of specific sections.

Reusing cable trays offers environmental and economic advantages. It reduces material waste, lowers procurement costs, and shortens lead times for project execution.
